UPFSA has been established to help improve standards, protection, professionalism, education, and long-term opportunities for football scouts and analysts operating within the game.
The organisation exists to support individuals working within football recruitment, analysis, talent identification, opposition analysis, academy recruitment, and related football intelligence roles. UPFSA aims to create a stronger professional structure where scouts and analysts receive proper representation, guidance, safeguarding support, and access to professional development opportunities.
Our work includes promoting ethical recruitment standards, encouraging integrity within football scouting, supporting safeguarding awareness, developing education pathways, promoting equality and inclusion, and helping members understand their professional responsibilities within modern football environments.
UPFSA also aims to support the development of recognised professional standards relating to confidentiality, conduct, safeguarding, reporting procedures, recruitment ethics, and continuing professional development throughout the scouting industry.
As the organisation grows, UPFSA hopes to continue building relationships across football while helping create stronger long-term pathways and protections for football scouts and analysts both within the United Kingdom and internationally.
